(ABR) Accredited Buyer Representative Designation
Improve your buyer and seller representation skills. An Accredited Buyer Representative is a real estate agent with advanced professional training and experience in buyer representation and commitment to the REALTORS Code of Ethics.
Designation Requirements:
- Complete the comprehensive two-day REBAC “Core” course in buyer representation.
Attend one additional ABR elective course. - Obtain passing grades on the written course exams.
- Demonstrate practical experience by completing and closing five real estate transactions in which you functioned as a buyer’s representative. Transactions must be completed and closed anytime prior to and up to 36 months after completion of the ABR course.
- Be a member in good standing with REBAC and the National Association of REALTORS.

(ALHS) Accredited Luxury Home Specialist Designation - $399

Complete the comprehensive two day ALHS Course.

Complete two sales with a luxury home buyer or seller where the purchase price is at least two times the average sales price in the market. The transactions must take place within 24 months of taking the course or anytime prior to taking the course.

Be a member in good standing with the NAR® and the Luxury Home Council, dues in the Luxury Home Council are $99 per year but are free for the first year!

ALHS Course Formats & Schedules
(SRES®) Seniors Real Estate Specialist Designation - $399
The SRES® Designation course seeks to instill knowledge and understanding of and empthy for 55+ real estate clients and customers. Develop the business building skills and resources needed for specialization in the 55+ real estate market.
Designation Requirements:
Three (3) requirements must be met to attain and use the SRES® designation.
- Successful completion of the two-day SRES® Designation Course, including an 80% passing grade on the exam.
- Maintain active membership in the National Association of REALTORS®.
- Maintain active membership in the SRES® Council. The first year membership is included with the SRES® Designation course. However, every year thereafter will require payment of annual dues.
The SRES course counts as one REBAC elective course to be applied toward the ABR designation and 11 hours of FREC CE credit. (classroom course only) It also counts as an elective to be applied towards the RSPS Certification.

(CIPS) Certified International Property Specialist Designation
Global Real Estate: Local Markets - $169
Global Real Estate: Local Markets, first of six international courses developed by Global Business and Alliances of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS, designed to introduce real estate professionals to basic skills and knowledge to facilitate international real estate transactions.
CIPS View the CIPS designation requirements
International Real Estate for Local Markets is the two-day prerequisite introductory course to the CIPS international real estate courses. The course is an analysis of the international real estate business environment, including capital flow, currencies, government regulations and cultures. The practical aspects of international brokerage, networking, marketing and selling are discussed. Students must take the this course before taking any of the other CIPS courses.

- This course is required to attain the CIPS Designation.
- This course is a prerequisite to taking other CIPS courses.

NAR Green Designation

Understand green, how green is transforming the needs and concerns of buyers and sellers, as well as how REALTORS® can adopt and implement green practices in their day-to-day businesses.
In order to earn NAR's Green Designation, the student must successfully complete the Core Course and one of three elective course. Elective courses are Green Residential Real Estate, Green Commercial Real Estate, and Green Property Management.
NAR's Green Designation Core Course - $299
As the foundation of NAR's Green Designation program, this two-day course gives students a broad understanding of green real estate principles--from the concepts of sustainability, New Urbanism, and smart growth to the application of industry ratings and evaluation standards in real estate. As a practical resource, this course shows real estate professionals how to explain to consumers what makes a home, building, or property green, how to list and market green properties while fulfilling ones legal and professional obligations, and how to implement green practices on the road and in the office.
In addition, this course discusses how real estate consumers can determine the energy efficiency of their properties, take advantage of green grants and initiatives, and reduce everyday toxins in the home and workplace.
NAR's Green Designation Core Course counts as credit toward earning the NAR's Green Designation, awarded by the Green REsource Council. This course also meets the elective course requirement for the ABR® Designation awarded by the Real Estate Buyers Agent Council (REBAC). A copy of the course completion certificate is required to receive credit towards your ABR designation.

As the residential elective for NAR's Green Designation program, this course takes a closer look at green strategies, practices, and considerations in residential real estate.
NAR's Green Designation Residential Elective Course provides real estate professionals with knowledge and awareness of green building principles applied in residences so that they can guide buyer–clients in purchasing and retrofitting green homes as well as help sellers by listing and marketing green properties. The Course encourages the real estate professional to be an advocate for green principles in the design and use of homes and a positive force for creating sustainable communities.
